How can you get an STD?

Please help… I really need to know how you can get an STD or how to know if you have one… what happens if you have one… I haven’t talked to my parents or anything and am a bit afraid to bring up STDs so please help, serious answers ONLY.
…And what if you’ve never had sex?

If you’ve never had sex, you don’t have an STD.

STDs are spread through oral, anal or vaginal sex. If you have oral, anal, or vaginal sex with someone who has an STD, you can catch it. Using condoms correctly and consistently greatly reduces the chances of getting an STD.

By having unprotected sex, or through other forms of contact between bodily fluids such as sharing needles, a transfusion of infected blood, getting infected blood in an open wound, etc.

if you have never had sex your fine,if you have then any contact can catch oral,anal,vaginal,even possible hand jobs,,,good luck
