How many hours after first contact with an STD does a person become contagious, if they have been infected?

Like the title says, how long after first contact with an STD does a person become contagious, assuming they have been infected?

They become contagious immediately. There are STDs that you wont even know you have until you do a blood test…and even then some show up months after getting it. But even though you dont know you have it, you’re contagious. Of course you can get it through direct contact with the infected area, blood, and any other bodily fluids.

Yes its contagious and works immediately.Once you get effected by the virus, you become the carrier of the disease and can transmit it to anybody.

The infection is immediate and may be passed on at any stage after that.Unfortunately some of the worst like syphylis do not always show up for a very long time.
