How old do you have to be to get a STD checkup at a free clinic?

I made an appointment with a local pregnancy test center to get an STD testing, but they never asked for my age. Do they allow everyone, or do you have to go with a guardian if you’re under a certain age?

Frankie is right, they will want to help. Don’t worry about the age limit…the most important thing is that you went for help! Good for you! Now listen to what they say and be careful!

Every clinic will have different "regulations" but they will likely not turn you away because you are young. Regardless of age, public health clinics want to keep everyone protected and taken care of… and if there’s any chance of you having an STD, they would want to help.

they will see you don’t worry i don’t think you have to take a adult but its best to take a Friend

Hmmm…not sure to tell you the truth. Call them maybe? I don’t think you have to have a guardian for testing but I’m not sure. I looked at a couple of sights and most say that if you are 12 or older you do not need a guardian or parent…may vary from state to state. I googled “std testing without guardian”.

they’ll give you an STD test at any age if you have sex if you ask for one
but at SOME places you do have to have a guardian/parent
you just need to call and ask its different in different places
