Syphilis contact blood tongue
Asked by on
Hello,
Recently I’ve shared this laptop with a girl. I had something itching on my tongue so I went scratching it with my finger.
When I looked at my finger it had blood on it, but not from my tongue. It was from the keys on the laptop which I’ve been using, the girl had a cut on her finger and went away to clean it.
Now I’m worried. Is it possible for Syphilis (or any other std) to be transmitted this way? Because I know she had it in the past and I’m not sure now.
Short Story: I had some of her blood on my finger by touching the laptop keys, and scratched my tongue afterwards with that same finger.

If you have scratched your tongue with a finger that had contact with someone else's blood, it is important to take precautions to prevent any potential transmission of blood-borne illnesses. First, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Then, rinse your mouth with warm salt water to help reduce the risk of infection.
If you experience any symptoms such as fever, sore throat, or rash, seek medical attention immediately.
Additionally, it is important to practice safe hygiene habits, such as washing your hands regularly and avoiding contact with other people's bodily fluids.
