What are ways to avoid getting all types of STD?
Asked by on
And where do you get them (like bathrooms maybe)? And also if you get one how do you cure it? (Please state the STD and next to it say how you cure it)
Thanks so much!

1. The only ways to avoid getting all types of STD’s are to abstain from having anal, vaginal, oral sex, dont share needles.
2. You get STD’s from infected persons. Bacteria can be passed from bathrooms.
Most STDs are only transmitted during sexual contact, either by skin-to-skin contact or through body fluid exchange. Crabs, or pubic lice, may be transmitted through sexual contact, sleeping in infected bedding, sharing infected clothing **and possibly** through sitting on an infested toilet seat. However, lice cannot survive away from the human body for longer than 24 hours
3. Most STD’s (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Trichomonas), can be cured by antibiotics and extensive treatment. Others like HIV, AIDS, Herpes are lifetime diseases that are treated but not cured.

The only 100% sure way to not contract any std is to not have sex at all. Herpes and HPV can be contracted during protected sex so unless you plan on being celibate your whole life it’s a risk you’re going to have to take.

Use a condoms every time you have oral sex or intercourse or avoid having sex. You would never be able to tell for sure if you partner is clean or not with out having them tested. You’re not likely to get one from a public washroom, stds don’t last for long periods of time when they are out side of the body. Depends on what type of std you get. Stds that are caused by bacteria like chlamydia are usually treated or cured with antibiotics. Infections like herpes, genital warts and hiv are not treatable but they can be managed with medication.

You may get one in a bathroom but you’d have to be copulating at the time.
