eg. How do you approach an STD test with a new partner?

What happens if the doctor finds out you have an STD during a Physical Exam?

I just had mine done today and I was clear, forgot to ask my doctor this though (was just so happy to have it over with lol). If you’re doing it for a school sport, and they find out you have an STD, will you not be allowed to play the sport?

They don’t check you for that during a sports physical usually; unless you have outward signs of it or tell them of a complaint you have. They would do further testing if needed, with your consent, and treat you for the STD IF you had one. You can still play sports.

you can still play a sport, besides no one is going to know about you having an std unless you tell them, and unless the std is physically disabling, you shoould be okay to play sports

They don’t usually test you for stds during a physical exam, they just want to know about your general health. You’re doctor should keep your medical information private, they shouldn’t be calling your school to tell them you have an std. By the way most stds don’t keep you from playing sports.
